Gasthaus zum Löwen in Remchingen

Since it's been a Hungarian restaurant, I've been really excited about the lion. Very tasty food at reasonable prices, plus friendly, competent service and renovated, beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend it.

The service and the approach was great something you will rarely find But the Christmas dinner was a disaster We waited about 2 hours for our food and then it was almost cold The offered alleged Wildgoulasch did not taste like wild but it was a normal goulash

Food top - service flop! The food was mostly good. The meat is of excellent quality and is well prepared. The pikeperch fillet came in a kind of batter, although none of it was on the menu. According to the Christmas menu, vegetarians should speak to the staff. But if you are only offered the starter pumpkin soup or potatoes with vegetables, it is simply weak these days. Although spaetzle are on the menu, the restaurant was unable to offer simple cheese spaetzle, for example. Simply offering side dishes to a vegetarian on a Christmas holiday is out of date. The lady who served us looked at us again and again after finishing the main course, smiled at us and passed our table several times. However, she neither cleared our empty plates nor noticed our empty glasses or asked if we would like a dessert. We had to get up some time later to be noticed. For dessert we ordered the vanilla ice cream with hot forest berries from the menu. However, we got vanilla ice cream with warm plums. Was tasty, no question. However, we did not order it. If something goes out - no issue. But then you can say a sentence about it and not just put it down. Pity! A really nice and tastefully decorated location and delicious food in good quality. With service, however, there is still room for improvement!

Service is polite and compentent. The food tasted good and the price-performance ratio was right.

The beer garden looked good. The guest room makes a bright inviting impression. The service was very friendly. Now to eat, it was very well prepared and tasted good. With starter, main course and dessert there was nothing to complain about. We were very satisfied. A star deduction because the beer was not very cold, it was almost warm 🙄.

Beautiful small and cozy beer garden, hidden in a lovingly restored backyard. Perfect for a break on a bike ride, but also a destination for balmy summer evenings. Interior also nicely restored. Food delicious, plentiful and fair value for money. Such a location was missing here!

A great May 1st beer garden opening with LIFE MUSIC! !! 😀🙄💃🖒Happy mood in a rural, cozy, summery atmosphere! Everything was wonderful -Only service was nice and very helpful, but disorganized and therefore stressed! We still like to come back. .........

February 2019: another visit, now with children. Staff again nice and attentive than last. The kids enjoyed it (schnitzel / chips / salad). Goulash soup was great. Unfortunately, my onion roast beef and the strips of beef on the salad of my wife were completely fried. Pity for the good meat! ------------------------------- December 2018: Nice staff, great renovated guest room. Food delicious, especially goulash soup and plate for 4 are recommended. You sit a little too long in front of empty glasses, but that is certainly still playing. We were satisfied and will be back!

Mediocre restaurant experience. The inn was with the (previously announced and reserved!) Amount of guests simply overwhelmed, the staff stressed accordingly. A hastily brought additional table provided for tightness. The starter salad was stretched with pasta for some reason. The garnish was on the table for about 10 minutes and was cold when the main course came. The food itself was neat, but not outstanding. Fries slightly too salty. Lactose-free cappuccino does not exist.
